Aspetar was established to provide the highest level of medical services and state-of-the-art facilities to sports people in Qatar and internationally. The mission of this hospital is to enable athletes to achieve their maximum potential through our constant pursuit of excellence.
The hospital has been developed to internationally accredited standards is designed to treat orthopaedic problems and athletic injuries using the latest technology to guide patients through subsequent rehabilitation for complete recovery. In addition Aspetar will also provide excellent clinical care to patients suffering from sport and sport-related injuries. Orthopaedic surgeons and expert sport medicine consultants are on hand to treat different athletes at all levels of their game.
Aspetar’s philosophy is also to provide athletes with the knowledge and ability to maximize their training and competitive potential by educating them on optimizing their fitness, nutrition, psychology and training schedules.
Aspetar is located within the Aspire Zone (Sports City) campus which hosted the 2006 Asian Games. The campus offers a variety of accompanying facilities including Khalifa Stadium, Hamad Aquatic Center and Aspire Academy.
